Pisces New Moon ~ March 2026

Time to Integrate Shadow & Light with the Pisces New Moon

🌊 New Moon in Pisces 🌊

March 18/19, 2026
Softly Closing the Eclipse Portal

After the intensity of the recent eclipse season, this New Moon in Pisces arrives like a deep exhale.

Eclipses tend to stir the waters of our lives — revealing, rearranging, sometimes dismantling what once felt certain. The recent Virgo lunar eclipse illuminated the places where our lives have become overly structured, critical, or tightly held, asking us to release control and trust a more organic unfolding; indeed, this is the way of the future! In the days and weeks following an eclipse, clarity often arrives slowly, like shapes emerging through mist, if we choose to look.

This Piscean New Moon marks the closing of that portal, encouraging gentle amalgamation of the lessons we have learned in this cycle. Rather than pushing forward, it invites us to integrate what has shifted beneath the surface. Pisces is the realm of intuition, dreams, and the unseen currents that move our lives forward long before our rational mind understands why. So, if eclipse season felt chaotic or emotionally charged, this lunation offers a soft landing — a moment to reconnect gracefully.

A late-degree Pisces New Moon gently reminds us that not everything must be solved, or even understood, for us to move on to the new phase. Some insights arrive through stillness over time, through dreams, through quiet moments where we let our inner knowing guide us. Indeed, this dreamy New Moon reminds us that some transitions occur so slowly there may appear to be little or no change at all, but under the surface, a major sea change is taking place.

With larger cosmic forces encouraging the bridge between vision and reality, this first post-eclipse New Moon asks us to honor both: the dreams that live in the heart and the practical steps that will eventually bring our dreams into form.

🌑 A New Moon Ritual for Integration and Intuition 🌑

Because this New Moon follows a powerful eclipse season, the most supportive ritual is one of integration rather than initiation. A number of lessons have been learned during the last cycle. For some, that cycle was the eclipse season, for some it was the last year, while others have felt the culmination of lessons since this last family of eclipses in 2008, or longer — please feel into the timeframe as it relates to your own experience.

Remember to practice compassion with yourself throughout this ritual; under Pisces, insights may unwind themselves slowly under the light of our nonjudgemental awareness — allow this space to be fertile ground for wisdom to bloom.

The Space

A quiet space
A candle
Pen and paper
(Optional, pull intuitively) An Oracle or Tarot deck

The Ritual

On (or around) the evening of the New Moon, create a quiet space. Light a candle and take a few slow breaths, allowing your body to settle.

Reflect on the past cycle and gently ask yourself: What has shifted within me? What truth has revealed itself, even subtly?

— Write down three insights or realizations that surfaced during this eclipse period — even if they feel incomplete.
If you have trouble starting, take several breaths and begin to write about the cycle using the questions above.
— Then write three intentions not as goals to chase, but as energies you wish to cultivate (for example: trust, compassion, clarity, courage).

Place your hands over your heart and sit for a few moments in stillness, imagining these intentions dissolving into the waters of your inner world. Pisces teaches us that manifestation begins with resonance, not effort. When the inner waters are clear (that is, our nervous system is regulated and coherent), life naturally begins to flow in the direction of our deepest truth.

Let this New Moon be less about doing — and more about allowing.

The next chapter is already quietly forming.
